Imagine Santa's reindeer lighting a menorah while eating pumpkin pie. Add tons of friends and a parking lot full of games (BINGO, cornhole, and putt putt golf, just to name a few). Did we mention a cook out and music? Don’t forget the ugly sweater photo booth, winter market, kid's crafts, and more!
Studio164 + Grounded32. The hosts and financial beneficiaries of this event are Studio164 and Grounded32. Both nonprofit organizations make mental wellness and social connection more accessible to people experiencing hardship. To learn more about them, scroll down to see their brochures.
Shoebox Ministries. There will be a toiletry and sock drive at this event for Shoebox Ministries. Shoebox collects items for people struggling with homelessness. Consider bringing 2-in-1 body wash (doubles as shampoo), a pair of clean socks, feminine hygiene products, sunscreen, or bars of soap for families in need.
All The Way Up. Have extra black clothes? Bring those also! All The Way Up helps people without jobs find work, no matter how checkered their pasts may be. They provide transportation and uniforms to those who cannot afford them. Their biggest needs are button-down black shirts, black belts, and black dress pants.
Can you donate gift cards for the raffle or items to be sold at the event? We’ll take anything from cookies to candles to cans of soda. We also need volunteers to help set up the event, play music, face paint, lead BINGO, grill hotdogs, wrap gifts, and so on. Volunteers get free lunch and a big hug. Reach out and share your talents!
Want to sell your stuff at the festival? Great! We’re looking for local art work, jewelry, apparel, soaps, candles, crafts, jarred jams, and other yummy stuff. Street tacos and ice cream trucks are welcome! The suggested donation for a booth is $125. Only need half a booth? Let us know and we’ll hook you up with another vendor to split the cost! We’re hoping for 5 special sponsors to meet our financial goal. Event sponsorship allows us to put this festival together and keep our doors open all year round. If you or your business believe in the causes we stand for, please consider giving $1,000 so we can continue to help others through 2022. Generous donors will be thanked with a Gratitude Display and gift basket unless they choose to remain anonymous. To read more about being a sponsor, download this PDF.
Tickets are used as currency at the event. Some attendees, however, may not have the funds to buy tickets for lunch or participate in games. If you’d like to donate a few rows of tickets ($10 each), we’ll make sure they’re delivered to someone in need. Recipients are usually residents of assisted living facilities or new to an addiction recovery program. Tickets may also be reserved for children of recovered parents in need.
The hosts and financial beneficiaries of this event are Grounded32 and Studio164. Both organizations are 501c3, and all donations are tax-deductible. The featured brochures explain their missions and what services they bring to our Phoenix community.
Your gift enables us to fund Thanxchrismukkah, keep our facilities open, and provide support groups to those in need. Studio164 specializes in addiction recovery meetings. Grounded32 offers creative mindfulness classes and mental health support gatherings.
Questions about the Winter Festival? Reach out anytime. Remember, this fundraising event is staffed by nonprofit volunteers, so it might take a couple days for us to get back to you. We promise to do our best and respond ASAP!
